WAHOO It's SUMMER!

Hot Springs or BUST!! We headed out after an early dismissal from school on Friday and arrived at the condo by 5! Of course we headed straight to the pool . . . and the boys swam 'til bedtime. In the meantime, I got to enjoy a little girl time with Kara -- dinner and a chick flick!

We resumed normal condo life . . .hitting the pool at 9am, turtle hunting, meeting up with "condo" friends, boating and just having FUN!

Jackson spent the day with us on Saturday . . . it is always neat to see how much the kids grow and change when you only see them during the summer!

Showing off a little. . . look at those muscles, Kyler!

some tubing (Jayden, Kyler and Jackson)

Oh look, showing your muscles for the camera must be hereditary. . . look at Uncle G's muscles!

Kyler and Morgan on a boat ride . . .

Getting ready to let the turtles go . . the boys caught 5 turtles the first day and 7 on Sunday . . .they always like being the turtle experts at Willow Beach . . and we always have a crowd of kids who are wowed!

Last moments before the turtles went back to their families. . .

We had to take individual pics with each boy and their favorite turtle. . .

The whole gang . . .

This is getting ready to head home . . .Kerry is strapping the rug on the top of the car, because the first night Jayden "barfed" all over it -- great, huh?! We are guessing it was just too much chlorine in the ole tummy, cause he was just fine after that! We are taking it home to clean it and let it dry out! On our way out we ate dinner at Cajun Boilers . . . .yum, yum!
I think we are in summer mode. . . already looking forward to our next condo get away!

What a week it was!

Last week was busy to say the least! Since the school year is wrapping up we are booked with events lately! On Monday we had two games at the same time and in different towns! (really not that different than any other week during baseball season though!) Thankfully, we had visitors to help us cheer all those baseball players on! Papaw, Kerry and Jayden headed to Prairie Grove for Jayden's game and Kyler, Evan, Pop and CiCi and I headed to Kyler's game.

Kyler, Evan and Papaw . . .
Jayden and Papaw. . . we are so glad that Papaw came to stay with us!! We ate dinner at home on Monday night and then divided for games, got some sleep, then headed to Kyler's graduation the next morning! The boys were excited to have a "cowboy" around:)!
On Thursday we were really double booked!! Evan had his program and Jayden had another out-of-town game! We lucked out again and had a visitor to help us through . . . good ole Auntie M to the rescue:)! She got sent to Elkins with Jayden for his game, while Kyler, Evan, Kerry and I went to Evan's program. We were glad to have Auntie M here to spend the night and join in our fun:)
We just LOVE getting to see family and for the boys to get to show off their talents:)! Thankfully, Pop and CiCi are around alot to be a part of all this excitement ---Papaw and Auntie M made this week all the better!!
*The next few posts show all these events in detail:)!

Closing the 2nd grade with a BLAST!

On Thursday I spent the day with a bunch of crazy 2nd graders!! We walked from Pop Elementary to the Farmington Park . . played, had a cookout, played some more and ended with a water balloon fight! It was fun to see Jayden in his school element!

The gang eating lunch. . .

Bless his teacher . . .she has had to teach THIS --all year long!

Just a random shot of the water balloon action . . .

look out!

End of the year HOE-DOWN . .yeeehaww!

Evan has been going to Fayetteville Athletic Club's pre-school program in the 3 year old class this year on Tuesdays and Thursdays. He has just loved his teachers and his friends! On Thursday night they celebrated the end of the year with a Hoe-down!

They sang the cutest songs and Evan knew every motion and every word. . .

Our little cowboy . . .

After the program they had a catered dinner poolside and lots of games and activites for the kids -- Kyler had a good time too! It was a great way to end the "school" year!

A Kindergarten Graduate!

On Tuesday, Kyler Dell Pitts, became an official Kindergarten Graduate! We were all so proud of him! There to watch him were. . . our Party of Five (complete with Pirate Evan -- he had to dress up for his school that day!). . .Papaw. . . Pop and CiCi.

Here's his class. . .

Practice Weekend . . Gearing up for SUMMER!

We had a very summery weekend! On Friday, while trying to stay out of the house while workers finished the fireplace, I took the kids to Target to kill some time . . . this is them in the toy aisle -- at this point I am wondering what the heck I was thinking!! But, it served it's purpose -- we did kill some time!

Then, we headed to the baseball fields for Jayden's game . . no pictures of this -- Kerry was on dugout duty and I was chasing Evan and Kyler. . . Saturday morning Kyler had pictures and a game (again, no pics -- I am going to do just one BIG baseball post at the end of the season!).

THEN, we headed to the Lake!!!!

Evan enjoying a little boating . . .

Kerry and all the boys tubing!! (yay, Kerry for braving the cold water with the boys!)

If you look real close, you will see Kyler . . he loves to swim in the lake!

Jayden and his "rescue" boat. . .

We had a great time on the lake with Pop and CiCi! We are now really ready for SUMMER!
On Sunday we did yard work . . . no pics of that dirty work, but the yard sure does look good (at least til next weekend!

Randomness

Here are the pics of the couches I left off a previous post. . . as you can see it is already being broke in . . Pitt's style!

It HAS to be able to handle a little wrestling!

This is during Jayden's "turtle" stage last week, he was determined to spend his money (which is burning a hole in his pocket, and about to drive me CRAZY --spend it all ready!!) on supplies for swimming turtles. James-Alan was nice enough to let Jayden use his ginourmous tank -- after carting it from Rogers and cleaning it, it now sits empty in his room . . .things change. . . we've moved back to electronics. . . so it looks like we will be returning the ginourmous, now clean, tank to Rogers!

This is Evan showing off his Tatoo (in the MIDDLE of his chest) . . it's a full picture of batman. . . this occurred while I was on the phone with Mom -- can't leave 'em for sec! When I said something about it's location he said "THAT's RIGHT, BEY BEY"

This is a self portrait Jayden did in art. He told me that he " . . put swirly lines in it just like Uncle Mike does in his paintings".

Happy Birthday Joseph Kerry!!

On May 14th Kerry turned 35 years old!!! WOW!! We had a little home celebration with Cheesecake (Kerry's favorite), Keylime Pie (a "summery" favorite) and Snow cones (prepared by Kyler). Just for fun I took a picture of some old pics I had of the "younger" Kerry (yes, I need a scanner!) . . .
Kerry age 3months . . .

I think he was around 4 in this pic . . . looks like a little trouble maker, doesn't he!

Awwhhh . . He was around 5 in this picture. Looks just like Kyler to me!

And one of my favorites, Kerry and his Mommy . . . I wonder what advise she would give for raising THREE little
Kerry's . . . I bet it would be good:)!
Happy Birthday!!!
