FLIM FLAM! Football Fun!

ARE YOU READY???!! It's that time of year when we put our HOG calls away and morph into full blown Hotty Toddy, Flim Flammin', Oxford lovin' REBEL fans!
This year, we had to be geared up not only for football camp, but New Orleans AND Florida - a full two week Fayetteville departure!  Vacation Travel Packs are a MUST!  Jayden said he couldn't go to sleep he was so excited to see what was in his Travel Pack - ha! Well, let me tell you - YES - those are garbage pail kids (MY fav part of the pack!).  And just like in the 80's when they were super cool and gross for little girls . .  BOYS get an even bigger kick out of them!
It has become a Hotty Toddy tradition for Evan to somehow manage to escape NWA WITHOUT any FLIP FLOPS! (of course I had some packed, but they were with the Florida bags - not worth digging into!) Luckily, our first Oxford stop is ALWAYS Rebel Rags.  So, he has his second pair of Ole Miss flops!
Let football campin' begin!

That's what you call neck and neck racing there!  (Kyler is in the yellow)

See those two loving brothers in line??? Evan stuck right with Kyler unless they were separated by age groups.  MOST of the time Kyler was a helpful older brother - however, I did catch a glimpse of Kyler shoving Evan's head in his armpit -- Looked like forceful, smelly torture to me - but I'm sure it was just brotherly bonding :)
Kyler and Evan's camp was over at noon, so we had some time check out the campus! They were remodeling the house, so we couldn't get in - but we peeked in the windows!
Kyler
Evan
Do you know how to tell a Pitts boys from behind?  It's all in the stance! (above JP; below KP)
Evan worked up a sweat in the Indoor Practice Facility in the air conditioning . .  or maybe it was just the cool thing to do!
Kyler, Evan and I had lots of quality time in the IPF and Stadium . .  Jayden stayed in the dorm, but he wanted us to watch his games (which went on until 10:30 PM)

Jayden and his team.  He was placed on the Saints - which he thought was really cool since he was heading to NOLA after camp!  They made it to the super bowl - it was so exciting and fun to watch!
 Jayden
 Evan
Two little rascals!  (this was probably around 9:00 PM - I was hot, grouchy, we had been going between the stadium and IPF for Jayden's games and these two were going in spurts between best buds and body slamming enemies.  Fun times.

That's right.  As Kyler always says, "Pitts boys Never Quit".
It sure was fun watching these little Rebels play football, it's one of my favorite weeks each year!  I get to become a full time football momma and see my boys route on my Alma matre.   Kyler said that they must have different cuss words in Mississippi because everybody just yells out "the D word and the H word" when they Hotty Toddy - ha! It's on to NEW ORLEANS!

Celebration of Seven!

The littlest Pitts boy is fixing to be SEVEN!  We decided to go ahead and get our party on before summer got going.  Evan did NOT want to invite girls to his party (only sisters were allowed!)

\
Some serious go kart riding!

I think the Birthday Boy had fun with bumper boats!

They played laser tag too, but no pics of that action.
He even hit the ticket jackpot!
It was a fun celebration of turning 7!

Moving On UP!

Kyler is moving on up to Ledbetter Intermediate!  He had an entire row of supporters at the 3rd grade Moving Up ceremony!  The Pitts crew, Pop and CiCi and Avery too! ( I didn't get very many pics)  They had a quoate from each student of what they would miss most about Williams.  Kyler's original response got vetoed a few months back . . . "the bathroom".  ha! He was sincere, too!  He said that was the only place he could see his friends. (He also tends to get in trouble in there for horse play!)   Oh well, he came up with something else . . . "playing games in computers.  (I guess that's better!)
His sweet teacher was on maternity leave and came back for some hugs!  Since his class looped - this gang of students and teacher have been together for TWO school years!

It's been a great 2 years with Mrs. Schmitt and a great 4 years at Williams Elementary!

Stars and Stripes, Water and Fun! Memorial Day Weekend 2013

We had a fun filled family weekend at TWO lakes!  After graduation we headed straight for Hot Springs!
We resumed our usual summer lake duties . .  pool play (look at Jake hanging with the wild crew!), turtle hunting, boating, eating out and relaxing!

I seem to recall Jake's "kiddie" boat getting a lot of Pitts use last year too!  I guess you're never to old for a kiddie boat!

We got back to NWA late Sunday night . . . Just enough time to get some sleep and prepare for our next day of lake duties . .  Beaver Lake this time!
The new jet ski got broken in!
We got to hang with the Johnsons!

Some tubing!
And some general horsing around!
Jayden ran the shuttle and Kyler was the tour guide.  This load is Jayden, Kyler, Pop and Evan - a wild crew!
Relaxing on the new screened in porch with CiCi.
It was a fun weekend of lake living!

The Kindergarten Graduate

It's official . . . the last of the Pitts boys has graduated from Kindergarten.
 How cute is this graduate?!!

Even Avery was there!  Although, I don't think Evan even noticed her existence! And I sure didn't pay her any attention . .  this was MY baby's day:)! (but she was a cutie and super good during the ceremony)
 A proud Graduate!

This graduate was DONE with pictures by the end!
Evan and his favorite Kindergarten teacher . .  Mrs. Gardner!  What a great year!
