A Weekend of Celebration: Happy 4th of July!!!!

Well, we are back again! and home for the next week at least! Just 5 1/2 short days after returning from Florida we headed out again . . it's the 4th of July after all! BUT- before we left we warmed up with some fireworks at the house.

This is how Evan spent most of the time, staying a safe distance from the action! (I was right there with him!)

Kyler shooting of a rocket. . . I must say this made me quite nervous -- you see, up until my teenage years I thought it was agaist the law for regular people to shoot fireworks! ha!(good job with the sheltering Mom and Dad!) The boys LOVE all this! And sending Kerry to a fireworks stand is like sending one of the boys to a candy store -- I'm talking a huge bag of random rockets!

This was a crowd favorite - it shot straight up with a loud BOOM and then a parachute flew down!

Some swimming at the pool . . .

more pool time fun. . . .

The boys with the Alligator Gar they caught . . .(they were so proud)

Jayden leading some condo newbies on a turtle hunting expidition . . notice his mouth is open -- giving facts about turtles no doubt!

Watching the boats get ready for the firworks display . . . we wait til the last minute to scoot out there.

A little shot of the view . . . I tried to get the cute pic of all the boys with their "USA" headbands - but only had my phone with me:(.

Here's Kyler on Sunday watching the boat parade from the balcony (the other boys were at the pool watching it).. . .see his "usa" headband -- so festive:)!

Doing a little fishing. . .

Jayden with a fishing pole in one hand and turtle net in the other. . .ready for whatever floats his way!

A fish! . . .

Another one! . . .I was so impressed with the boys fishing capabilites --Kerry had been taking them out, and they've been with Pop and CiCi -- so, they bait their hook, reel it in, and throw it back -- I was just a spectator!

A little action shot at the pool . . .oh-no - in goes Daddy! Glad to see them working together!

Then, we headed to Carlisle . . .and of course hit the fireworks stand (again, a huge bag of assorted firworks!)

The boys put on a great fireworks display! Happy Fourth of JULY everyone! It was fun, but we're glad to be home!
