What's Happening

Evan's class had a field trip to the Insectarium and I got to join them!  Evan wasn't feeling very well - and you can tell in these pics. . . poor guy!  Since then, he has gotten a shot (not fun! but this time it only took 2 nurses and me to hold him -- that kid can fight!)  We are hoping the shot will bring up some numbers in his blood work and get this kid feeling good!  Think of him in 4 weeks when he has to get his blood drawn again - and this time he knows what he's in for - might take 4 holders!

 

 Kerry, Jayden and Evan headed down to Arkdaelphia for a record breaking short LA trip.  Kerry had some fraternity brothers meeting up on Saturday night and Matthew is touring with the Mac Powell Band and they were playing in Little Rock.  The boys headed out after PeeWee games around 1:30 and had to be back by 2:00 for Evan's basketball practice - yep, short trip!  Kyler and I stayed behind for Kyler's Baseball games on Sunday.

Kerry was really glad he got to see Matthew play and thought the band was AWESOME!  Here's a pic with Matthew, Jake and Mac Powell.

 While they were away Kyler and I had some fun of our own. . . a trip to Cabellas, then as Kyler's said "Party Pack Me!" meaning of course-- a 12 pack of tacos - he was determined!  Football on the tube, scooted up the coffee table and ate tacos til he was stuffed! 

8 tacos in one setting was his record and he finished up Sunday with the other 4.  He said now he knows how Aunti M feels . .  ha!

The next weekend Brittney and I braved the movie theatre with 6 kids - Kyler and Evan refused the group pic - but here's the ones that cooperated!

On Thursday I had some special lunch dates . . there's nothing quite better than a McDonald's Happy Meal delivered to school by your momma!  First I ate with my favorite Kindergartener and then with my favorite 3rd grader!

Kyler's table was rowdy!  A bunch of silly boys - I was afraid I would get in trouble by association!  It was fun, now I owe my favorite 5th grader a lunch delivery -- coming soon!
