North Bound and Back Down to Island Life

We have a few duties up north to take care of so the boys and I loaded up the night before, arose early in the AM to take off north bound by 4 am!  I can't believe we did, but we drove ALL THE WAY TO ARKADELPHIA, arriving around midnight.  The boys were stellar travelers.  By the time we hit north Florida we were shocked at the cool (65 degree) temps! We spent some time in Arkadoo, I had some stuff to go through before the big move.  Then we headed on up to NWA.  Jayden had school testing he had to do in Bentonville, plus some suprise dental work; Kyler and Evan reunited with friends for a few days before we all loaded up and headed back to the islands.  We slow rolled back down - and pulled the trailer - because our next time back will be for the move back.

A stop off in New Orleans

And a day at NASA . . .

Then it was back to the islands to resume island life!  Jayden's first pay check . . .

The opening of the pool, finally!  We enjoyed afternoon swims and movie pool parties with the neighbors!

Thankfully, Kerry was down for the bird transaction . .  because it all seemed in a little sketchy.  Meeting the bird breeder at a neutral location in Miami . .  but it all worked out and we welcomed our very own island bird to the Pitts fam . .  welcome Mango!
just a pretty canal I see on my runs . . .

Cuban coffee and danish from the Cuban shop down the street . . . my favorite morning coffee view!
some fresh mangrove snapper, pittsboy caught!
Tennis lessons are complete!
