Evan was an acolyte at the Christmas Eve service, so we had an early evening Christmas Eve dinner with the family before getting spiffed up for the candle light service. Evan was a little nervous, it was communion and lots of extra candles to light - but he did just perfect bringing light into the service!
Doesn't everyone have photos of their children wrestling by the Christmas dinner table?! I know I always do! Avery joined right in too!
We had lots of help in the kitchen . . . The flu hit the Daily's and Johnson's, so we were just glad to have some of the crew on Christmas Eve and the full crew later on Christmas Day.
