A Christmas Party and a Rescue Mission!

I should be posting pics of Kerry and I all dressed up for the Home Builders Assoc. Christmas party, however the "after party" trumped the actual party! After some texts describing that Snoopy was lost "in" the couch - we returned home to do a rescue mission:
The boys were distraught and were not going to bed until Snoopy was rescued. Yes, Kerry is SAWING my COUCH! It was the only answer!

VICTORY! I have a feeling the boys might be famous at the highschool today, because Kelsey took pictures as well, and had sent out texts asking for info on how to get a hamster out of the inside of a couch! This might qualify us for most exciting babysitting job! I hope she comes back on Thursday:)!

On a good note, it was a great way to clean out my couch. Just flip your couch upside down and you will be AMAZED! Oh, and you might not wanna sit on the left side of my couch until Kerry does some repair work on what was probably a main support board! :)

Lookin' Like Christmas!

We had a little sneak peek of things to come this winter . . . it was exciting to drive to school with snow on the ground and covered bridges last week. . . and it looked so christmas-y! Since the boys were out of school on Friday, we treated Thursday night like a Friday! We headed to Momma Deen's for some soul food -- the boys loved it, and Kyler kept saying how it was the best fried chicken in the "country" and WE were eating there:)!

The fried chicken is "double cooked" -- smoked and then deep fried and KYLER SAFE:)!

After feeding our soul (and I truely mean that, just going out to eat feeds my soul because Kyler is able to eat so much more -- just look at that pic of him digging in!), we hung around Best Buy and then checked out the lights on the Fayetteville square. It was a nice little holiday "Friday" night! (scroll on down - I posted 2 other new posts)

Be Good for Goodness Sake!

Annual trip to see Santa and get our Pitts boys Santa pic to add to the collection ( and yes, I am making them do this until they are 30!) Evan and his list . . .

Kyler and his list . . .

Jayden and his list . . .

Evan had an additional list listing "all" of everything - actually he has been saying that he . . "wants all the boy toys"- he showed Santa BOTH of his lists and then brought the green one back home.

The lists are turned in, Santa knows their main hearts desires and now ALL they have to do is Be Good For Goodness Sake!

The Making of a Family Pic!

Family photo session, Take Two: It's a take "Two" because we attempted a family photo session during Thanksgiving Break . . . didn't quite work out, so here we are again -- threatening, bribing and crossing our fingers! Check out little sweetie Evan having an angelic moment . . . Everyone getting in the right position . . .

A little un-cooperation by one . . . then another . . .

And some clowning around! . . .

It took hundereds of photos -(thank you CiCi) - but we actually got some usable ones - yay us! Christmas cards will be out next week! Wahoo - cross that off my list! (I'll post the pics we used later)

HOOP Time!

Do you wanna see a Flock of Cardinals on the court? . . . well come on up! Jayden will be rockin' his "80's" headband, his new bball shoes (guess who's foot grew a size in 2 months - yes, I said FOOT - just one! I hope the other one catches up, cause I really don't wanna have to buy 2 sizes!) and exploding with energy on the court! His first game was today, but there are many more to come! This is alot different than previous years - full court and traveling!

Let the Holidays Begin!

After a 10 day Arkansas tour for Thanksgiving, we had some exhausted, ready-to-be home, traveling hang-over kiddos! However, they weren't too tired to put on their Chirstmas Jammies and let the Holidays Roll -- pizza and chritmas decorations on Monday night - we are all trimmed up!

This was after-school on Monday -- like, within minutes of arriving home . . .yep, tired!

The tree is decorated, the outside lights are lite, Santas are in place! The boys bedroom trees were up and decorated a week before we left for Thanksgiving- I'll get pics of them later (their rooms are too messy as of now!). Fa -la-la-la-la
