Summer Days . . .

Where to start, where to start?! Well last Friday we were soooo excited that Auntie M spent the night with us!!! (and CoCo's cousin, Killa!) Auntie M got to see the boys' '"clubhouse" -- that would be Kyler's closet - the shelves were cleared (guess who will end up cleaning that up?!) and served as their "beds" and the bottom was filled with pillows blankets and who knows what else! All I know is that it kept them busy for most of a day!

Then on Saturday we headed to Hot Springs, by way of Carlisle - we had to stop and put a little sweat equity into the clinic (in 100+ degree temps!) and we stopped by and saw Meme. We arrived at the Condo in plenty of time for some evening swimming!

We played pirate golf while there. . .

Ahoy there maty!

Got ice cream from the "ice cream boat" - what a great idea - they play music like the ice cream truck and everything!


We took the boat over to the Mosley's and did some sliding off their dock . . .

Evan driving away in the boat???? . . . not really, it was tied up!

Then we rode over to Fisherman's Warf for some dinner - the boys always think it's cool to arrive by boat!

AND - on Monday morning we boated over to the cold water dam -- Kerry always talks about this, but I have never been and it is a requirement that you get in the water ---IT"S FREEZING - I mean really, it hurts! Kyler barrelled right off (he has no fear!) - this was his face coming up the ladder . . in a little shock!

Off course Kerry jumped in and YES I got in as well - and let me remind you my two least favorite things are. . . Lake water, ugh and Cold Water and this was BOTH - but I did it!


Jayden took a little coursing. . .

We didn't get back home til Monday evening. . . it was a fun trip!
