A Mother's day REDO!

I wasn't going to post anything on Mother's day, not because it's not a very special day, but because THIS paticular day was not so special - hey it just happens sometimes! BUT -- I DO have a wonderful, GREAT, SUPER mother who didn't get any appreciation on her "special" day -- so I am asking for a "do over"!! (coming soon!)

The reason the day didn't go as planned was a combination of things . . . 2 boys who haven't seen their mommy/brother in a week -- needing attention; 1 boy home from a week of tests and stress and lots of spoiling -- needing attention, Daddy gone to Carlisle to spend Mother's Day with MeMe, Me tired with bottled up stress from the previous week and trying to get back used to having THREE kids, and attempting to put 3 out- of -wack kids in a car, on a boat ride, etc. . . = NOT a special day! Lots of crying occurred by all, resulting in us back home, watching scooby doo on a pallet on the floor for some much needed "mommy time" and relaxing! I DID get the most precious cards from the boys the day before the "special" day (because they just couldn't wait!) and a fancy new coffee maker the week before (because they just couldn't wait!). Who needs ONE special day, when you get a whole bunch!

We will have a "do-over" celebration of Mother's Day for CiCi and just kinda forget about that other ole day!

((also neglected was poor Auntie M who was in all the way from San Antonio . . .can we have a do over on that as well?!)
